Captain Straker: back to origins in space

The myth of Shado resists and makes new converts.
a few weeks ago TMC2 recreates the adventures of Captain Straker in the fight against the "evil aliens" (Thursday at 21:05, "Dr. Future", 26 episodes).
The excellent series produced in the aftermath of the moon landing is probably the most important source of 'science-fiction of Italian viewers. In
Rai aired Sunday, October 3, 1971, at 16.45 (the area was still devoted to the TV guys). The plots of the episodes revolve around an impending attack that aliens are planning to launch the Earth and predict with various raids. To do this we created a multinational force, the Shade, captained by Commander Straker (Ed Bishop), which, with the 'help of latest technology, trying to hinder the plans of the aliens. The outpost is Shado Moonbase, a futuristic satellite control station located on the land, from which the interceptors, small, fast ships can tear down UFOs. The base is among the 'other, populated by beautiful girls who work in tight lamé suits .
Before this show was the word "Martian" to identify a form of extraterrestrial life and not' alien ' at least in Italy where he had never got the 'epic of Star Trek, and for the first time alluded to the fact that the Earth could compete on equal terms with any unknown population of planetary systems.
Starring: George Sewell , Peter Gorden, Gabrielle Drake, Michael Billington, Grant Taylor.

Album In satellite channel of RAI, the UFO is one of the most popular, a sign that even in cyberspace the return to origins is common practice.
